Reporting Relationships/Responsibilities


Procedure:

The Marion-Dillon County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs shall provide oversight through the development of policies and procedures, the annual adoption of budgets necessary to ensure fulfillment of its statutorily prescribed duties and responsibilities.

The Executive Director shall report to the Chairman of the Board and shall be responsible for the administration of the day-to-day operation of programs and services of the Board.

Agency Administrators and Supervisors shall report to the Executive Director and shall be responsible for compliance with all applicable rules and regulations pertaining to the department, programs and services to which they may be assigned.

The Direct Care Staff shall report to their assigned supervisor and/or administrator and shall be responsible for the provision of direct services to the citizens of Marion and Dillon Counties enrolled in the Board's programs and/or services.

All staff are responsible for complying with and carrying out policies and procedures set forth by the Board.

Purpose

To set forth the reporting relationships and responsibilities of the Board, Executive Staff, Administration, Supervisors and Direct Care Staff.
