Loading and Unloading of Lawn Workshop Equipment
Procedure:
All individuals who have loading and unloading equipment as part of their job duties will always be supervised and assisted by staff during the loading and unloading period.
Emphasis will be stressed in the area of safety to include, proper lifting technique, balancing of equipment on the trailer, and seeking assistance whenever necessary.
Gasoline and other flammable liquids shall not be transported in vehicles with individuals. When gasoline is carried in a trailer it must be transported in an Underwriter's Laboratory approved container and it shall have a self-sealing lever or screw cap.
