Termination by Resignation or Dismissal
Procedure:
An employee may terminate their employment with MDCBDSN by resignation or dismissal.
- Termination by Resignation
- The employee should submit a written letter of resignation which gives specific reasons for their resignation to the Executive Director.
- An exit interview to clarify reasons for resignation shall be held with the Human Resource Director no later than the last day of employment. (Form attached)
- It is up to the discretion of the Executive Director to decide if there is a need to work a notice. This decision will be based on the needs of the Agency.
- Termination by Dismissal
- The Executive Director and Human Resource Director will decide if a notice of no more than fifteen (15) calender days should be given to an employee who is being discharged.
- An exit interview shall be held with the Human Resource Director no later than the last day of employment.
