Supplemental Sources of Income


Procedure:

The agency shall establish sources for additional income sources whenever possible to help supplement the operating budgets for each program. Grants shall be written by the appropriate department administrator, supervisor or director with training and experience in grant writing. When possible committees for grant projects will be established in pursuant of grant writing. All grant applications must be approved by the Executive Director and the Board.

All supplemental income sources will be listed on the appropriate service budget, except for grants that require a separate fund or bank account established.

Purpose

To establish a procedure for supplementing revenue through use of generic services, entitlements, grants, donations and fees.
